Refill lower unit

Possible to damage prop seal by refilling lower unit. I saw a little oil come out of the back seal of the prop when I was pumping lower unit oil. Motor has approximately 55 hours.

did you have the top and bottom plugs out and pump into the bottom hole only until the lube came out of the top hole?

You wouldn't think that with the top/vent plug out that any pressure could be achieved sufficient to force oil past any seals.....

would not be the first set of seals ever hydraulicly jacked out of place by pumping oil in with the vent plug in place.
