How do you correctly test a regulator/rectifier to know if it is bad? I tested the one i have by putting my red lead in the red terminal of the R/R and touched the black lead to each of the white terminals and got an open circuit, i then reversed polarity and by putting the black lead on the red terminal of the R/R and touched the red lead to the white terminals and got 1200 ohms on each. According to what i have read this is backwards of what i should see? can anyone shed light on this for me? Thanks
