Misfire plus fuel on water

Any ideas ? Yamaha 250 f four stroke .motor seemed to be running ok cruising (not so sure now) but started running very rough as slowed down to get back in to marina .strong fuel smell & fuel on top of water appears to becoming from exhaust engine is misfiring I guess ,any ideas ?

bad plug, bad valve, compression loss, excessive rail pressure.
the list is way longer yet I tire of typing.
