How do I replace my thermostat?

Sort of new to this but here goes:
Just got my Yamaha SX150 out of storage and started right up but, when I looked for the "pee" it didn't start peeing even after it warmed up.
Last year I replaced the water pump and it worked fine all summer.
I reamed the pee hole out and some salt came out but after restarting nothing happened. I blew air up into the pee hole and found a hose was off! I did hear a pop when I did the air thing, so I figured I blew the hose off.
I can't seem to find a good explanation on hoe to replace the thermostat.
Can someone give me some pointers and how to replace it any how hard is to do? Its a 2002 150 SX.
I am pretty good with a wrench, but don't have a torque wrench or special stuff it thats needed.
I also tried to find a schematic to see where it is and cannot find that either?

Look up at the RED, "Purchase Yamaha parts" on this page.

Type in your info, you'll have different pages to click on. You'll find the thermostat, gasket, etc as well as an assembly diagram.

Also, IF you have a powerhead flushing attachment, hook water up to that and see if you can get some water to come out that pee hole (don't run the engine with just that attaced)

Part #7 (two of them, one on each head) is your thermostat.

your motor has 2 stats on on each head, but the stats will not keep water from flowing out of the tell tail.

Run a piece of heavy mono or weed wacker line up the tell tail while it is running with water attached or in the water.
Or try the compressed air deal again but use less pressure with it running with water. It helps moving things around some.

Some larger motors have problems getting enough water using muffs

Thanks everyone for your help.
I cleared the line by reversing the hoses and blew it clear.
Still takes awhile to start peeing, but after it runs awhile it works great.
