  • 1998 T50TLRW problem with the order.

    Hello

I have a new 62Y-41137-09-CA GUIDE EXHAUST but the old MOUNT DAMPER is not suitable.
In the old GUIDE EXHAUST the place of the MOUNT DAMPER is rectangular. But semicircle in a new GUIDE EXHAUST.
"Help Finding Parts" says 62Y-44514-21-94 (MOUNT DAMPER, rectangular profile) is correct for this engine. But it is not suitable to the new 62Y-41137-09-CA GUIDE EXHAUST (semicircle).

I have now ("violently") ordered a new 67C-44514-00-94 UPPER MOUNT DAMPER (semicircle profile). It is F model. It is better for light use I think.

What do you think, am I right or...

        ok, I am a technician.
without wasting more of my free time hunting up part numbers, what are you trying to do and why?
also what is the MODEL number of the engine we are discussing?

Thanks for your time, but I need this a professional who knows what kind of mount damper is suitable for this part of the 62Y-41137-09-CA GUIDE EXHAUST.
The machine is a 1998 T50TLRW but this new guide exhaust is different than the old one. Therefore mount damper no 62Y-44514-21-94 is not suitable.

I am thinking your not aware that the F and T models of the 4 stroke 50 in 1998 were similar yet some parts simply wont interchange.
some parts would most mounting parts, some ex parts and none of the gearcase parts interchange.
if you will notice that damper has a UR, user required< for BOTH the F and T models.
those two parts will not interchange.

whenever you see the UR its time to pay close attention.
also sometimes when one part is supeceded then the next will need a supercession as well.

most internet sites, this one included, typically don't show the supercession nor the supecession chain.
I have it at work but not here.

Now, we start to be at the heart of the matter.

I ordered the part 62Y-41137-01-94 GUIDE, EXHAUST and the Yamaha has superseded it for part the 62Y-41137-09-CA GUIDE EXHAUST. That is same for the F-and T-models.
Also the old damper 62Y-44514-20-4D has superseded, but not to fit for that the new 62Y-41137-09-CA GUIDE EXHAUST.

              This page show the supersession:
Tag 1 is the GUIDE EXHAUST.

              http://www.yamaha-motor.com/partview...TLRW_-_1998%29

              Tag 25 is the damper.

              http://www.yamaha-motor.com/partview...TLRW_-_1998%29

And from here I could find the right part:
Tag 26 is the suitable damper i think.

              http://www.yamaha-motor.com/partview...TLRZ_-_2001%29

              The question is still:
What is the right mount damper for this new 62Y-41137-09-CA GUIDE EXHAUST?

1998 T50TLRW problem with the order.

The number of the original guide exhaust is 62Y-41137-01-94.
In the Europe Yamaha superseded it for the 62Y-41137-02-94 (Only in this material change)
                but
Yamaha of the USA superseded it for the 62Y-41137-09-CA which is close to the models 2001.(One giant leap).
"A short leap for Yamaha, but a too long leap from the old mount dampers".

                The question is still:
What is the right mount damper for this new 62Y-41137-09-CA GUIDE EXHAUST?

I do not need information on the international parts or procedures on international market motors.

However, I am bought here more than by 1500 $ parts in this year.

The very simple question is still:

This is not a Yamaha USA website.

Yamaha USA will not have information pertaining to a non-USA Yamaha motor.

You will need to get information, if you can, from a Yamaha dealer in the country that distributed your motor.

You can buy from this website whatever Yamaha parts are offered for sale here in the USA. However, there is no guarantee that they will be applicable to a Yamaha that was not originally sold in the USA. Anybody buying Yamaha parts from this website for a non-USA model need to first verify they are buying the correct part number. How they do that verification is up to them.
