rebuilding our 250hp ox66. service manual says to use only 'gasket maker' but does not specify a specific type. would i use a RTV or an anaerobic. is there a preference?

correct 'gasket maker' for crankcase

it says Gasket Maker and then says Yamabond separate. goggling Yamaha Gasket Maker comes up with Yamabond
an E-tec spe******t told me to use the anaerobic gasket maker back when i rebuilt our other power head. it has been fine for 3 years now but wasnt sure if it was actually the right thing to use or not

I use CRC o6o64 carb cleaner or rubbing alcohol to clean it.
I don't use the primer/activator. makes it set way faster than I can move.
