On a 02 SW200 does the collar and spacer go on the vertical shaft with the lip of both facing up or down?

On my F150, according to the shop manual, it appears the lip faces downward.

flat washer,wave washer,flat washer ,plastic collar,lip down, steel retaining collar.
pull UP on the shaft when seating the collar or you may get an annoying knock at an in gear idle.
