how hard is it to change reverse gear in 1991 70 trp yamaha

l have forward lost reverse last weekend i think its just the gear

getting it apart? sometimes tough.
changing a gear. simple.
with the correct tooling and a dial indicator.
its not your gear.
your money but the gear itself is most likely fine.
unless you ignored the jumping out of gear to long.
then its a shift shaft,gear and clutch.
