Why are there so many different oil filters prescribed by Yamaha, it occurs in their motorcycles too. Two of mine specify different numbers, I notice that aftermarket companies tend to specify theirs cover both, so I don't care anymore, the time and effort spent drives me crazy.

I still can't figure out why my boat fuel filter, which is exactly the same as an ordinary one but marked as marine use, STILL rusts?
