1995 Yamaha 85 TLRT possible head gasket?

I've noticed what looks like salt crystals and possibly rust arond the head gasket and head cover gasket. Would you say it's time or just keep running it and keeping a eye on it?
i do basic maintenance stuff but feel I'm should be able to change on my own when the time comes. What do you guys with experience think? My only real worry is not breaking any bolts when removing. 1200 hrs almost all salt water.

after 23 years, bolts can be stuck
I myself would leave it alone until I had to take it apart

I subscribe to the if it ain't broke don't fix it theory. I don't see anything abby normal.

The head on my 1999 C 90 Yamaha looks just like that....that red stuff must be the edge of the gasket?.....anyway, no problem so far!
