Doing Keihin to Mikuni pump conversion, any hints or tips?

Cleaned the check valves in the keihin oil pump and it still leaks. Thought it was worth a try.

Ordered the Mikuni pump conversion and new oil lines.

I'm 99% sure I can handle this but are there any tips or hints from someone who has done this before?

that pump kit will have limited to no instructions.
post a model number of your engine and maybe we can refer you to a later service manual.

if it comes with NO instructions then use an oil line routing diagram from any 2.6L v6 carbed motor from 1991 and up.
