sounds like you will be doing what Rodbolt mentioned and pull the head to remove that plug.
or break it off and use something they made to remove plugs from Ford V8s when they break off.
you would think pieces would end up down in the cylinders after doing that without pulling the head

post up pics of the ones you pulled out from the side and from the top (like the one still in) to see if there is some major differences
definitely post up a pic of that plug once you do get it out. we all would like to see what happened to it
does the normal plug socket even fit semi tight?
maybe tack welding small spots on the socket to grab it more

Nope I cannot get the pic to post up at 300%.
but if you do blow it up as much as you can, I see the remains of some flat spots .
looks like it rusted away like Rod mentioned
hard to see since it is dark rust colored against that dark block, right below the silver metal ring
like they already said, try different sockets even if you have to drive them on
or cut some strips of metal shim stock to slide in the 6 point socket and drive that onto the plug
