kicker wont crank

Got my hands on a 2011 9.9 high thrust. All looks good, in neutral, key in, press the start button and just get a click. Fuse is good. My yami's are giving me grief. What gives now?

Check the battery first, voltage/ load test. Then check the cable connections/ grounds..

Went old school. Bypassed the electrical and pulled it with the rope. The engine runs great. After running for about 20 mins., I tapped the starter and it engaged. Shut it down and it starts fine on the starter. Must have been slightyly siezed.

Or running it, re-charged the battery...
