I have a 97' 8 hp 2 stroke (8MLHV) it doesn't have have a charging unit and I want to be able to charge my battery, what part(s) do I need to be able to charge my battery?
I just looked at my parts catalog, and I dont see an option for charging on this engine, but you will need a voltage regulator, a stator with a charging coil in it, and the appropriate wiring harness.
