    Part #20 or 23? or ?

1999 V200TLRX Yamaha Outboard OIL PUMP Diagram and Parts

If its just a screw on fitting, taking a very accurate measurment from eyelet to eyelet of the old and then adjusting the new end (screwing in or out) to be exactly the same, should do it...

If you have the other end, put is close as you can and measure it.

There has to be SOMETHING LEFT you can put the new part next to for setting the adjustment..

A Yamaha service manual for your motor will give you the steps and procedures needed to set it correctly for your motor

Here is something I found posted about it but do not know what motor it is for and it does not include all of the info needed

            This is an important adjustment.
Back out your idle adjustment screw until butterflys are fully closed. Connect the oil rod to the carb. Bare in mind that a safety feature is that the oil pump goes into full oil delivery if a connector breaks.
Move the oil pump lever fully forward and attach to the rod.
This is my adjustment on my motor. It should be close to yours.
I would NOT eyeball it. Could be expensive.

rather than dinking with the shutter stop screw simply unclip the bottom two shutters.
make sure the bottom shutter that drives the oil linkage is FULLY closed.
adjust the new clip so that with the shutter fully closed the clearance between the oil pump arm and stopper pin is .005-.020".
reclip the shutters and go play.

                yes Virginia, its that simple.
