  • Oil Tanks Disconnect

I disconnected my oil tanks so that I could mix fuel/oil myself. Is there any specific wiring I have to do so that my boat doesn't go into limp mode. Or bypass oil sensors so that my alarms are disabled? 1994 yamaha 130s twin

Yes. You have to trick the system into thinking it has oil in the tank.

Which floats?...sorry I'm new to this. The oil tanks attacked to the engine are out...I removed them along with any connections. How do I trick the system?

The float on the engine tank but if it is gone then you need to do it via wiring as suggested.

              ok
              I cant stand it.

              I gotta ask.
WHY would anyone remove the most bullet proof dead nuts reliable variable ratio oiling system ever built to premix?

most oiling system mechanical failures I ever see are with premixed motors.
