Yamalube oil full synthetic

What would be the benefits if any to use the yamalube 5w30 full synthetic in a F115?

Some will argue the superiority of 100% synthetic oil and then will go so far as to argue the merits of a particular brand of 100% synthetic. The brand I use is inherently superior to the brand you use.

My belief is that for 99.999% of all motors there will be virtually nil benefit seen via the use of 100% synthetic oil. If one feels he is part of the 0.001% he might benefit from the use of it.

Let the discussions begin. Then we can debate the weights of the oil.

Well, I think that 99.999% is an exaggeration. It's probably more like 99.997%. But, I agree - use an oil that fits within the specs offered by Yamaha and you're good to go. Maintenance and regular oil chages are more important. There are two benefactors. Yamaha and the oil company who supplies Yamaha.

synthetic costs more , but you can run it longer
I did not try to figure out if it evens out in the long run.
but it does save some of the maintenance time if you put a lot of hours or miles on a vehicle causing more than 0ne oil change a year
