I don’t know what you call this part of the carburetor but it popped off. Is there an easy fix for this or must I buy a new carb ? It’s the part my finger is pointing at.

As your engine is apparently 2004 or older, it appears to be the fuel inlet for the carberator : https://www.boats.net/catalog/yamaha...lrc/carburetor .
(A model # is always helpful)...
Looking back several years, it does NOT show that part separately.
I suspect cleaning the area well and re-installing with say RED Loctite or some other product will be the fix short of buying a new carburetor.
Another Loctite product that should work: http://www.loctiteproducts.com/p/epx...g-Compound.htmLast edited by TownsendsFJR1300; 06-21-2018, 05:00 PM.Scott

Plus 1 with what Mr. Townsends says above. Although loctite red is very strong, it may be a bit thin for this repair.
It seems like the fit is not very close on these pieces...so maybe something like JB weld, which is quite a bit thicker.
Needs to be cleaned with brake clean for a good bond. Don't need gobs of it. A decent amount on the part that fits into the carb so there is a bit of squeeze out and you are not pushing it IN the carb.
Good Luck.

.
If the fit is really sloppy, you could CAREFULLY expand that piece by gently tapping something into the fitting ( small socket, drill bit -smooth part that attaches to the drill motor, etc) expanding it just a tad..Scott
