VF250LA Tachometer

Just purchased a new boat with the VF250LA motor,want to install the 6Y8-8350T-11 tach,what cable would I need from tach to motor? Thanks

if the boat already has a tach the rigging is already there.
what rigging do you currently have on the dash panel?

Don't have the tach yet,going to buy and install.

then look into command link or command link plus.

costs a bit more initially but the amount of engine and hull data that can be displayed makes it worth while.

I don't have parts manuals here at the house and I don't memorize part numbers.
they change to much.

I'm sorry,that's what I meant,it's the round Gauge Tach Command system and need to know what cable to run from gauge to motor. Thanks

I believe it is cheaper to buy the tack kit, it should contain all cables and tach

trust me, go with either command link plus or the two gauge square package.

look in the 2013 MRP book for all the part numbers.
