1980 Yamaha 20 hp float setting?

What is the correct float setting for my 1980 Yamaha 20hp outboard?
Single Teikei-carb, 2-cylinder, 2-stroke engine.

Someone told me that I just need to see that the float is level with the gasket-surface, when holding the carb upside down.
Will do that if nobody can give me the measure?

as the US market did not get Yamaha motors till about 1984 and we get NO data on non import stuff I cannot help.
however level typically works.

Were there any 1980 Mariner 20hp in the US? That would be a Yamaha if so...

not that I know of.
I graduated high school in 1980 and had no interest in outboards then.
back then it was automobile work.

Float height

Set the float LEVEL is the correct height.
