I've spent countless hours throughout many many years trying to locate, hook, and land a snook of epic size. The fish gods rewarded me. Short video shows the goods. Apologies for the few flagurant words you'll hear.

Nice fish. I love light tackle. Except for tuna....

Guess Jason and I are the only ones that fish around here. Anybody ever use the deep diving *****ing lures? Yo-Zuri etc. I have planers and do not enjoy using them. I don’t fish offshore much in my boat. Sneak out a couple times a year.

Not many snook around(TX) here anymore.
hear about people catching them down south some

I fish inshore most of the time now a days.
I enjoy sight fishing for reds on the flats in East Matagorda Bay, do not wade much anymore, just push pole my boat.
        catch flounder and trout also.
biggest flounder was only 6 lbs, but know there are larger out there
biggest trout was right at 30 inches
Most of the people I use to go offshore with, have sold their big boats and fish inshore like me now.
