lost spark on f40. disconnected kill switch with no change, been told cdi,s don't go bad. (don't have a peak volt meter) wondering if anyone had similar problem and the fix or an educated guess, Thanks
knowing merc and Motorola electronics. I would guess a stator failure.
however I would test components and not guess.
remember your motor is a merc with metallic blue paint.
that was part of the failed Yamaha mercury marriage.
