What type lower unit oil does Yamaha recommend in a 2004 Four stroke 75 hp ? synthetic or a synthetic blend?

Any specified "Marine Lower Unit Oil" will work fine....lots of folks use the Walmart brand, but any will work...regarding the standard or synthetic lubricants, again it's a matter of personal preferences/opinions...

Needs to say, "Marine Lower Unit Oil" which contains additives to help it deal with some water which may finds it's way into the lower unit....
