How do you set the air mixture screw on the top carburetor on a 2007 25 hp yamaha?

Your start by turning it in until it is lightly seated, counting the number of turns that it takes.

After the carburetor is cleaned and reassembled you lightly seat the screw and then turn it out the same number of turns that it took to screw it in when it was first done.

What if you don't know how many turns bc the end broke off and the spring shot the cap off. I had to use a very small punch to unscrew it. I had to order new screws for it.

Two turns out from being lightly seated, plus or minus 3/4 turn.
