what cables can i use on my motor

i have a 1999 yamaha 40 hp with a push to open throttle and i need to konw what kind of control cables i can use. Also i would like to know how to wire a tach to this motor.

You can use the Yamaha cables MAR-CABLE-__-GY or Teleflex cables. The Tach connects to green(tach signal wire), yellow(key on power) and black(ground) wires at key switch.

Does the 3300 teflex cables come with the necessary fitings, hardware etc.

No it's just the cable, no hardware comes with any of the cables. The only thing you should need is the cable ends which normally come with control box and engine.
