Need advice.... 60 vs 55

I currently have a yamaha 60hp on a small dean cat which has packed up. It is a 3 cyl two stroke. I have an option to replace it with a 55hp yamaha 2 cyl two stroke..... Is this wise ? What's the performance difference and will the 55 fit on the existing power lift and tilt of the 60 ??

we only got the c or cv55 for a few years here in the US. something like 89-95.
while decent not much interchanges with any other Yamaha stuff.
I would prefer the 60.
