Just messing with you. That video has come up time and time again. Bringing mirth to others. You, not so much.

Do you mean the pump too or just the cylinders?

I apologize. I am aggravated with this whole situation because no shop around me can even get to it for a month and I want to be fishing.

Just to inject my thoughts on draining ,flushing, and refilling the T&T system.
It was not designed to do that easily.
It is a sealed system, so you would normally disassemble the whole system,
dumping all that was inside and cleaning the individual parts, and filling it as you reassemble the parts.
but that is just what I have read in the past. I never did it before.

          Dang Boscoe already covered that

No quick fix, you have a compromised expensive unit to replace, time ticking away from a cheap clean (but time consuming) to eventual throw away.

Heard back form my guy today. He said the tilt cylinder cap needs to be replaced. However, you cannot buy just the cap only the whole cylinder. Anyone know if there is a place just to get a cap?

The cap is shown in the Yamaha parts catalog. In stock and available from Yamaha USA.

We looked at that but supposedly that is the trim cap/screw which would be smaller. I need the tilt screw. Thanks.

I think so. Can it be ordered separately as opposed to the whole contraption?

The assembly is item # 6. The end cap/screw is item # 7.

I see that now. I called another dealer and he told me that I would have to order the whole sub assembly as well. I will bring this to his attention and hopefully we can just get the screw. That would be about a $400 difference. Thanks y’all.

You could just order it from this site?
