Trim and tilt gauge

I just had a rebuilt Yamaha 2004 F150 installed replacing my 1999 115HP 2 stroke.
My trim and tilt gauge is not working now, although before the installation it worked fine.
Any help would be appreciated.

could be a number of factors.
one is the gauge.
the 115 should have had a 3 wire sender, the F150 uses a 2 wire sender.

if the gauge is settable then you must use the 2 wire switch position.

could be a broken sender cam on the steering tube on the motor.

could be a stuck sender.
