Hi all,
. I'm rebuilding the trim/tilt on a 200 hpdi and the manual valve is not cooperating and it's completely seized. I already removed the unit and have it on a bench with the valve bathing in rust penetrant.
My question is does the entire valve slide out after removing the snap ring, or does it still need to some how turn for removal?
I have read what not to do as far as using impact drivers or torches to get it to move, but very little on what to do.
Any hints or tips to getting this out would be appreciated.
