    on a 200 hpdi can you just take out the upper bolts loosen the bottom and jack the motor up 1 hole without it breaking the lower bolts

    If the bottom holes are slots you can (and there's room to slide up)

    Not sure of your exact model # BUT it should look like this:

          Slots on mine are filled with sealer. Would like to drop my motor a hole but looks to be a pain in the ass.

            slots are filled but came out easy looked like 4200, after i do it i was going to pull the bottom bolts to reseal them should i use 4200 or 5200

              I've read of people using Boatlife caulk. Been mentioned here that 4200 or 5200 may be overkill. Creates more issues down the road. Let's see what the others say.

                I like boat life.
                I have actually lifted a 28 topaz off the rack with just 5200.
                finally had to pry the motor off the transom and get tynes fiberglass to repair the gelcoat.

                    most silly cones are not rated for under water line use.
