I blew the fuse on my V225. Anyone know how to take the fuse module apart to change the link?

can you post a model number?
there are at least 3 versions of a V225.
you are looking at your motor. we are looking at a screen.
once we can identify WHAT version of a V 225 then we can offer suggestions.
what fuse did you blow and why do you think its blown?

Looks like it's S225TXRW. I can see it's blown, and if I jump accross it, instruments and starter work. It's one of two fusible links contained inside a rubber module, on the starboard side of the motor. Tried to attached a jpeg, but for some reason it won't attach.

you simply pull it out.
the other is for the battery isolator circuit . if your not using the isolator circuit you can use that fuse in an emergency.
however as that's an 80 amp fuse I would recommend you find out why it blew.
and see, its NOT a V225 its an S225.
the S225TXRW is listed as a 3.1L OX66 EFI with trim,25"shaft.remote control with a 1998 production run model code.

Thanks rodbolt17. The two links were each on a plug-in carrier. I swapped the blown one with the other one and the motor is running again. BTW, I blew the fuse making a rookie mistake. Hooked up the battery backwards in the dark trying to rush. Anyway, thanks again for the help.
