Hi there,
I am trying to get a new fuel sender to match the Yamaha fuel gauge 6Y5-2818R-32.
In the manual for the fuel gauge, Yamaha describes how you can adjust the toggles on the gauge.
YAMAHA 5-105 ohms
USA 30-230 ohms
EUROPE 180-0 ohms
However, Yamaha hasn't clarified whether their convention is to show the resistance reading on the left hand side when the tank is empty or full. In other words, under EUROPE 180-0 ohms, is the 180 referring to a full tank or an empty tank?
Under USA 30-230 ohms, is the 30 referring to a full tank or an empty tank.
I would appreciate some guidance, please.
