Fuel Pipe

I have a 03 200hpdi fuel pipe that developed a leak. Found a replacement for $500. Is it possible to have a new hose put on the the end pieces which are in perfect shape. Or do I just need to bite the bullet? I saw an old thread about this subject but wanted to hear if anyone had figured this problem out. Thanks guys! P/N is 69f-13973-00-00

Bite the bullet. That pipe has to withstand either 750 or 1000 psi. Leaking fuel under that much pressure is not something to mess around with.
