Anyone have info on enduro engines?

I have a 1998 48hp. Pull start manual tilt trim tiller. Im trying to find info on if these have a stator or if its possible to add one. It seems there is also an electric starter assembly for them but that isn't a priority.

Id like to keep the battery for the CMC tilt/trim kit charged and I can't find ANY credible info on this outboard.

    Thanks for the help.

Unfortunately I don't know boat engines well enough to decipher any of those diagrams.

Those diagrams show all of the parts that are used on your motor. Parts that might need to be replaced from time to time.

The illustration labeled as "generator" shows your motor as having a "lighting" coil (part of the stator assembly) which is the device that creates electricity to recharge a battery or to illuminate some lights. A device called a rectifier/regulator can be plugged into the lighting coil connectors. The R/R can then be connected to your battery to recharge it. I think that is what you wanted to do.

Start looking at the diagrams. The more you look at them the more they will make sense. Here is the one for the lower unit. Surely you recognize that one.

          much appreciated,
