  • Temp Range of Yamaha multifunction Tach

Installed a new Yamaha LCD Multifunction Tach/hour, trim - oil * water alarm.
Plan on storing the boat in dry unheated storage.
Wasilla/Palmer area. Have seen -30° here.
What the max cold temps OK for the display ?
Remove the display unit & keep in the house?

I have never seen a minimum or maximum range specified for any Yamaha product. I don't think you will have a problem storing the gauge in temperatures of -30 degrees F or below. Think of all of the boaters in Fairbanks or the interior of Canada who store boats in even colder climates.

Having said this, the tachometer is easily removed if you want to store it inside for peace of mind.

Take the risk or not ?
Probably will leave it in place

Will pull batt, & prep to make room.
