2003 2 stroke V max vx150 throttle - pull to open or push to open throttle?

2003, 2 stroke ,V max, vx150tlrb
I am re powering and want to install a side mount flush throttle control. I do not know if the motor I am going to use has a pull to open or push to open throttle.
When did they change to a push to open throttle?
What flush mount side mount throttle control do I need for this engine?
