outboard age/parts

i have just brought a boat with a yamaha engine on it and im trying to find out about is age and availablity of spares and from where. it is a 75 AET 692 L 400964 any info and spares advice would be great thanks.

692 is approx 1979..according to this website in swedisch..look for a small stamped in year-letter in one of the the corners of youre typeplate.for the exact production year...
