I am thinking of repowerng my boat. I have found a 2002 200 ox66. My old motor is a 1990 200 hp. What wiring will have to be changed. I heard yamaha makes adepters so i can use my older digital gauges. Will oil tank need to be changed? I have also found 2 different part numbers for the multi guage kits 6YR-W0035-F1 AND 6YR-W0035-F0 What is the difference?

The main engine harness (10 pin harness) will work, if use the 1990 oil tank you will need 6R3-82541-00-00 adapter to connect to engine, if you get the 6YR-W0035-F1-00 gauge kit it will have the right wire harness in it. The Fo gauge kit superseeded to F1.

Do they make an adapter for the gauges? I have read that they did.

The trim gauge in tach will not work, the 02 engine uses a 2 lead trim sender and the 90 engine uses a 3 lead trim sender and the old tach's dont have the the trim sender switch in it. You can get the adapter 6R3-82541-10-00 to make the oil level indicators work.
