  • 2001 F80 4 stroke winterize question

Ready to fog for the winter BUT I can't get the breather cover off so I can spray each of the 4 carbs.
Anyone have a diagram of how this assembly comes off?

    PS
Unless I can be convinced otherwise I believe in fogging 2 & 4 strokes as it gets the oil completely through the entire engine: intake, carbs, combustion and exhaust.
The boat, engine will be sitting for 6 months Nov - April in snow, rain and freezing conditions, so fogging the engine through the carbs can't hurt.

    Thanks

The four strokes don't require fogging oil on crank, rods and bearing because they are oiled from oil pump. Just remove spark plugs and put an ounce of fogging in each cylinder, remove landyard chord to keep engine from firing and spin engine over a couple of turns to coat cylinders and rings with oil.
