Did they buy and install the correct Yamaha isolator lead cables or not?

What does "from scratch" mean?
I meant that they removed all the battery configuration and they did it again , starting tom zero
As 99Yam says the battery voltage information comes from the isolator lead rectifier/regulator output via the ECU.
If the Yamaha isolator lead is not installed the display will never report house/sub battery voltage on it.
Now that I think about it, the isolator lead is protected by fuses at both ends. If the fuse at the battery is blown then you will not see house battery voltage. Not sure what the situation is if the fuse in the electrical panel is blown.

Hi,
here is the update… copy and paste from Yamaha guy …
((Boss,
The isolator leads are already connected and the charging of the house batteries is taking place through them, so the fuse blown thing does not apply, but still no gauge function.
We are also working on it, I also had a word with our Dubai team, they are on it too, will give you the feed back soon.
Thanks for your patience and effort to help us from your end, appreciate it.
Best Regards

I wonder if it has a hard reset that would put everything back to factory settings and then you could go and reconfigure custom settings again
Or just turn off the settings for showing house batteries and then turn them back on to see if that would bring them on line
Just a thought as you know how computers get mixed up from time to timeLast edited by 99yam40; 10-23-2013, 09:31 AM.

ok, will do that.
Issues are, Yamaha people over here are unqualified to say the least,,, I have been in Italy for 20 years and nothing to compare, just imagine, they never knew that there was such a meter… for sub batteries;
ALso, I truly believe that when we connected a new LCD device, we re configured the same in order to know if it was a failed of the LCD but nothing changed;
They have engine manuals of 2006-2008, nothing newer , I was in the see, over 35 mil from shore , and my house batteries were drained , not one time but 2 times, no DPS, no radar no bulge pump no lighting !!!
They keep saying sorry, now no problem ,,, 2 times !
I regret not going for 2 Verdaos 300, much cheaper and much better exclusive delete over here. …
I have 2 hopes now, 1 is that the LCD must have a special configuration, by external PC/USB that the local dealer did not order yet, the other is they missed up a connection;
God knows, am really frustrated, paid all that for brand new engines and latterly afraid of using the boat knowing that house connection battery is still shown Nil !

you are probably correct as it sounds like you have programed the extra meter and it also did not read correctly
Did you get owners manual for the meter?
This is the only one I found and it is listed as 2010
