Tiller Grip

This is my first post so any help is appreciated.

I have 1981 Mariner 9.9 SN. 682cs021238 and from all I've found and been told it's was built by Yamaha in those days in Japan. A dandy little motor for sure.
My tiller handle grip has left earth... I'm looking high and low to find another. I was told Part # 6G1-42177-00-00 may fit... any ideals or where I can the part?

OR, is there another tiller handle available that can be fitted?

try a mercury one of the same year as they are the same engine ,except the paint job and the decals
