F 350 V8 2 none firing spark plug

Hi All,

i have a triple mount installation of the F350 V8, center engine had a problem found some pieces of metals apparently from a bearing housing in the crank case.
managed to replace engine, but we used the old ECU from damaged engine, since new one would not have the engine run at all.

now only 6 cyl are working and 2 not firing and max rev we are getting 4300rpm.

checked with YDS all sensors seems Normal.

can anyone help me with this part, YAMAHA agent also dont have any answers for me here.

can it be the ECU, configuration issue to the triple rigging

what method did you use to determine spark?
the ecu is programmed to the control box ecu, if it shifts its working.

if i got you correctly, i used a spark plug tester, and tested with YDS to fire one by one...

we also suspect maybe there is some settings that need to be done to make it work, we can also relate it to rev limiter activation,

if yes, how can we go about to reset the rev limiter?

as per yamaha FAQ they state that it can be low oil pressure, which might have caused the rev limiter to be activated...

for the US market there is no rev limiter resets.
have you tested the ign coil inputs?

do you have 3 wire coils or 4 wire coils?

we have a 4 wire coil

sometimes these four wire coils do play up need to check them as they will fire alright sometimes and sometime go into sleep mode ,dont know why it happens but it does ,had few problems on tourist boats ,similar ,replaced the coil it worked fine
