Tachometer Help

I just got my first boat. It has a 1994 Yamaha 40EJRS Outboard with electrical start. I am wanting to install a tachometer at the console so I can monitor the RPM. Does anyone know if this particular model has electrical in the control box for tach install? If so, what wires do I connect? I am currently looking at a Faria 33005 Coral 7000 RPM Tachometer. Will this tack work for my motor?

If the Faria tach has a 6 pole setting then it will work.
You can get 6Y5-83553-N0-00 Gauge harness that will connect to matching color wires at 703 control box or at dash mounted key switch, will have to change wire terminals at end of harness to connect to a Faria tach.
