Temp gauge sender unit

Hi to all on the forum.
On a 1999 Yamaha BETO V4 - 130hp, where would the best place be to fit the sender unit for an Equus electronic temperature gauge?

Also would it be practical to fit a vacuum gauge, the same as one would on a 4 stroke automotive motor, and if so where would be the most practical place to fit the vacuum pipe? Or is this not a good idea!?

don't know about your sender.
Yamaha drilled,tapped and plugged holes on both banks.
port side is for water pressure stbd side is for temp.
14mm hex headed plugs at the top of the block.
ditch the vacuum guage idea, wont do what you wish on a two stroke.

The Equus gauge came with the correct fitting for the Yamaha block. -
All is well.
I installed a water pressure gauge on the port side when I bought the motor in '99.
I'll fit the vacuum gauge in my Corvette!!

A good idea for a vacuum gauge is on an outlet port of your Racor/Yamaha fuel filter. If and when the vacuum rises excessively you will know that it is time to change the filter element.

You won't be changing filters too early and you might get a warning that it needs to be changed ahead of schedule.
