I recently purchased a 2003 F-40 outboard jet drive and the lower jet drive unit calls for adding grease after every use. It has a zerk fitting that you uncover by removing a rubber hose that is attached to the lower unit. The sticker on the lower until says to use Water Resistant Grease NLGI #1. I've tried asking a Yamaha dealer what kind of Yamalube would work ,but they don't seem to know. Does anyone know where I can find the correct grease for this appication? Thanks!

Yamaha does not make the jet unit so it would not be abnormal for a dealer to not know what grease to use. Many, many, dealers will never see a jet pump.
I note that Outboard Jet Specialites (maker of the lower unit) does not specify a particular grease. http://www.outboardjets.com/catalog/...s%20Manual.pdf
