Hey all first post, great fourm!
I recently bought an 03 F40 and after going through the lower unit h20 pump, gear oil change, oil change and plugs I noticed a metalic clicking noise coming from under the flywheel which seems to be coming from the drive sprocket, Ive researched the service manual and cant fint this sprocket in the IPB anywhere so I don't know if the sprocket has a bearing or its just keyed. The clicking comes and goes...when its not..the motor sounds perfect. But when it is... its down right annoying... I also noticed that the timing belt seems excesivily loose is there a way of adjusting the belt. I cant seem to find that either. Thanks for the read and look forward to learning on the site.
