I have a 2000 2 stroke 9.9MLHY that I can't get to run. When I prime the fuel line, the gas goes through the pump and directly into the engine. The bulb does not get tight, and if you keep pumping it, it will fill up the cylinder and make so you can't pull the rope. I have to take out the spark plug to allow the fuel to escape. I think it is going through the hole next to the reed valve that I think is to activate the pump. Has anyone seen this before, and what would be the problem?
