new tilt and trim motor switch

Will install tilt and trim switch on 1997 CC40TLRV motor, have located parts, but need to know what size hole to drill to install. Thanks.

Thanks for the reply, I have the switch available in another city, and have the opportunity to get the machine work done immediately, trying to get a jump on the work. Any help is appreciated.

Then you might want to post what switch # You are looking at to buy and where it being mounted, as we have no idea

Thanks for your interest-99yam40, the switch is listed on boats.net diagram as 63D-82563-10-00 as Trim and Tilt Assembly, is installed inside the lower cowling on the port side, opposite 3-4 inches from the fuel pump. Appreciate this. There is also a quick connect wire nearby.
