2005 yamaha 50hp 2-stroke dies at full throttle

I have a Yamaha 50hp 2-stroke that dies at full throttle, it does not quit it
goes down to slow idle. then it will not go to full throttle.
any ideas as to what could be wrong ?

might monitor the timing to see if it is advancing as it should.
Also check to see if you alarm system is working and buzzer sounds when oil or overheat goes into alarm
