Good day, everyone.

How do I test the ISC on a 2006 yamaha, 115 efi? Also, by reading different threads. There is a suggestion that I could make my own diagnostic cable and obtain the program to run thru my PC. Any comments or suggestions?

I cant comment on making software and cable, its not what I do.
I use the Yamaha YDS and a temp gun to check the ISC.
cycle it a few times and take a temp reading.
anything over about 200*F means its sticking.

Testing ISC

Thank you for your comment and suggestion. As soon as the ECU comes and I can get the ingine running, I'll test that part right away. I love owning a newer computerized motor but I have a lot to learn. Respectfully, Robert
